Recently I heard a clip on several conservative radio talk shows. The clip was a Democratic politician comparing Jesus to a community organizer and stating Pilate was a governor. The implication was that Obama is like Christ and Palin is like Pilate. I think the comparison was supposed to be “witty” or “clever” while contrasting Obama with Palin. It was not either of those. Instead it simply fell flat and made the politician look sophomoric at best and moronic at worst. I believe one of the reasons is simply because there was nothing to support the statement. Anyone who is nominally serious about knowing who Christ is would not compare him to a “community organizer” (unless of course they are on the left). They would also realize equating Pilate (who was a governor) with Palin (who is a governor) makes no sense.
Now I will fast forward to the most recent events in this (much to long) presidential campaign.
The moment McCain announced Palin as his running mate-the left, the Democrats, most in the entertainment industry and the MSM have done everything to attack Palin and dig up anything they can find to try to destroy her. They have left no stone unturned and have even produced outright lies. The most recent attempt involves someone on the left illegally hacking into Palin’s private e-mail and distributing them on the internet. What Obama and his campaign have done in response to this is best stated by an article entitled “Left Wing Group Hacks Palin’s E-Mail” by Caleb Howe (AOL News);
“…this week, a half-hearted attempt by the DNC and media outlets [attempted] to paint the McCain campaign as playing dirty. Obama's religiously devoted followers, including on blogs and in the press, have been doing his dirty work for months, and much dirtier than the McCain campaign could ever hope to stoop to. It's a neat trick to try and avoid getting Obama's hands dirty, and I recall a lot of people earlier this year whining that surrogates were doing McCain's dirty work for him. Yet the most significant Democrat blog online openly admits to doing so on behalf of Obama.
The number of lines willing to be crossed in the Palin witch-hunt the last few weeks continues to grow. From spreading rumors about her children to questioning her as a mother...hacking her private email account and posting her private family photos online fits in perfectly. I have no doubt we'll soon hear a defense of the importance of this illegal activity to the political process. Steal personal email,... Claim Palin's children are fair game because they are with her in public now and then, claim Michelle Obama is not fair game despite being a speech-making, event-hosting part of the campaign.
Anonymous may be anonymous, but their tactics are as plain as day. It's Obama Supporter 101. Do as he wants, not as he pretends not to do. Anonymous broke the law, but they kept the spirit of the left perfectly intact.” (bold and underline mine/insert mine)
Now I must bring to mind a very famous quote;
“…accepta aqua lavit manus coram populo dicens innocens ego sum a sanguine iusti huius vos videritis”
“…taking water washed his hands before the people, saying: I am innocent of the blood of this just man. Look you to it.”
and honestly ask who is imitating Pilate? I make this point for two reasons, the first should be obvious-
1. I am not an Obama supporter
2. As a private law abiding citizen I am concerned (frightened actually) that those on the left, i.e. Obama, his
campaign and supporters are willing to do anything (literally) to win.
What this means for the Average Joe Citizen (which Obama is not-no I am not referring to skin color so get over it) such as you and I is that some or all of our protections mean nil because nothing is below the left's political machine when it comes to getting their man into office. Oddly enough Obama spouts off about the Constitution and it's "true" meaning yet when it comes to "those not associated to his campaign" he takes the same action that he did concerning Russia and Geogia, i.e. nothing. Again I must honestly ask who strikes you as closer to Pilate-except in this case the person washing his hands has the “blood” (figuratively speaking) of a woman on his hands.
