I am reposting some of my points from a previous blog because I think there may be some validity to the arguements...also, it is a major concern of mine because of what would be called the "if then statement "in computer programming/scripting. If what I think am seeing is true then the results may be extremely frightening.
IF
"We must remember that the Great Oz and those who support him want to 'fundamentally change' the U.S. Constitution (or at least reinterpret it as a "living document"). So we must be very careful as there is a reason for this...the Leftists realize if they can undermine the U.S. Constitution in any way then they can undermine the U.S. and undermine 'we the people'. "
THEN
"It may be many in the armed forces will find themselves facing a dilemma because of the oath that they have taken;
'I,_____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.'
(the National Guard oath is a little different, but not much-http://usmilitary.about.com/od/joiningthemilitary/a/oathofenlist.htm )
The first part of that Oath states that they will support and defend the U.S Constitution against enemies both 'foreign and domestic', and that they will 'bear true faith and allegiance to the same'. So, this begs the question, 'What will they do when the enemy of the U.S. Constitution proves to be "The One" who claims to be POTUS?'
Let me make it clear, I AM NO ADVOCATE of an armed rebellion. I have no desire to blow up anyone or anything. I have no desire to engage in acts of terrorism (foreign or domestic) like Obama's good friends Bill Ayers and Rashid Khalidi. I just wish to make the point that The Great Oz is a Leftist and a Socialist and historically speaking those ideologies are diametrically opposed to the U.S. Constitution because they require tyranny and totalitarianism, i.e. fascism...which is what the Fairness Doctrine and the legislation taking away private union votes are steps toward.
So, again I ask the
question ,
“What are 'we the people' going to do about it?"
I would stop there but this
article by Michael Barone, this
post by
Sue about this
article are making me wonder more and more how many acts of hubris the Great Oz and his Munchkins are going to perpetrate upon we the people...perhaps the question should be,
how many acts of hubris are we the people going to allow? As stated before...will those in the military find themselves in the proverbial "rock and a hard place"? We the people, those who truly love the U.S. and the U.S. Constitution need to act now. We need to do what many have suggested and e-mail/call those who claim to represent us, we also need to do as suggested in this
article by
Michelle Malkin - and organize "a... demonstration to oppose...Obama and Pelosi" and all those that want to "fundamentally change", and "reinterpret" the U.S, Constitution as a "living document"-i.e destroy the U.S. Constitution.
I would add, again, a quote from the same article by Malkin; "The event was peaceful,...". Make sure that what we do is peaceful and law abiding. We the people also need to expose The Great Oz and his Munchkins for what they are (truth and facts are stubborn things) and we need to talk with our pocket books as well (hey money talks right?). Whether it's sending money to support those running against Snowe, Specter and Collins (when the time comes), or not buying a product that would help Oz et al. We need to do it...hey send money to support TH, Hewitt, Rush, Levin and Hannity if necessary, drop the liberal newspapers like the L.A. Slimes. Quit watching the LSM so their viewership (is that a word?) drops down to single digits. Anyways, enough suggestions...I have digressed from my original point which was the IF THEN military situation. Perhaps those in the military better get a copy of the original U.S. Constitution before Oz and those like him find a way to change the words. That way they know what they are to defend.
